How to identify the quality of color-coated panels?
Because the identification of iron raw materials is quite complex, it is impossible to recognize them on-site without professional equipment. However, based on our factory's years of experience, we have summarized methods to intuitively distinguish the quality of color-coated panels. Don't think that the lower the price, the better; you get what you pay for. As the saying goes, "There are only wrong purchases, not wrong sales." Generally speaking, if the price is below 3 yuan, it can be determined that it is recycled steel.
In fact, many brands, under the pressure of market competition, do not hesitate to reduce costs by using recycled steel or selling under private labels. Of course, one must also guard against unscrupulous merchants who sell inferior products at inflated retail prices and then offer significant discounts to customers. Many customers easily fall for this. By flicking the color steel buckle plate with a finger, the metal sound of a better quality color steel buckle plate is relatively clear and loud, while that of a poorer quality one sounds dull and less pronounced.
Investigate whether the exposed steel material of the buckle plate, such as the cross-section, is finely crystallized, whether it appears gray, dark, or contains impurities. Observe the thickness of the product's coating or film, and the thickness of the substrate. A good color-coated panel generally has a layer thickness of only 0.02~0.03mm, and the film thickness is often below 0.15mm. Inferior color steel buckle plates often manipulate the steel substrate and the coating or film.
Generally, they choose to reduce the thickness of the steel substrate while spraying several layers of coating on the steel substrate or using a very thick film. In fact, some color steel buckle plates on the market have a steel substrate thickness of only 0.15mm, while the film is 0.4mm. A substrate that is too thin and a coating or film that is too thick can also reduce the performance of the aluminum buckle plate.
